It is easy to apply and only cures once you put it under the UV or LED lamp Which allows the nail tech to take their time when shaping the perfect nail set. It can give you a beautiful and long-lasting manicure.PolyGel is very versatile and perfect for beginner nail technicians. Here are the general steps to apply poly gel:
Tools:
1.Nail file
2.Top coat/base coat
3.Poly gel
4.Dual form
5.Brush
6.Slip solution
7.UV/LED lamp
Step 1: Prep your nails, start by removing any old polish, shaping your nails, and pushing back your cuticles. Then, use a nail buffer to lightly buff the surface of your nails. ensure that the nails are free of oils and lotion. This will help the poly gel adhere better.
Step 2: Apply a base coat, apply a thin layer of a good quality base coat to your nails. and cure under UV lamp for 60sec. This will help the poly gel adhere to your nails and prevent any damage.
Step 3: Squeeze out a small amount of poly gel from the tube and apply the extension gel on the inside of the dual form and then stick it on your nails
Step 4: Dip the brush into slip solution or alcohol, press gently and removeany excess gel
Step 5: Cure the poly gel, place your nails under a UV lamp and cure the poly gel for 60-90 seconds. This will harden the poly gel and make it stay in place.
Step 6: Remove the dual form and trim yout nails to the shape you like
Step 7: Apply a thin layer of topcoat to your nails 60s. This will give your nails a glossy finish and protect the poly gel from damage.
That's it! Your poly gel nails are now ready.And you also can do some design for it like flowers or rhinestones or some pretty stickers!
